Directions’ Career Centre joined forces with Fresh Start Recovery Programme earlier this year delivering employability workshops to assist clients in preparing and integrating back into the workforce.

Career Development Officer Vikki Sinagra collaborated with Fresh Start’s Administration Officer Codie Bush and Support Worker Matthew Mansell to deliver their very popular Resume Essentials workshop to clients participating in the transitional part of the program at “The Hill”.

The Resume Essentials workshop delivered covered resumes – the purpose of a resume, importance of self-marketing and content of a resume, covering letters and selection criteria – what is selection criteria, where do I find it and how to address it.

“Attendees responded positively regarding the delivery, resources, and information provided throughout the workshop,” said Vikki, pictured here with Codie from Fresh Start.
